Due to a law change, the administration of the blind/disabled homestead has become the responsibility of the county. Therefore, individuals seeking the blind homestead benefits should contact their county assessor's office. The Department of Revenue is no longer the contact for the blind/disabled homestead and will no longer have applications posted on its website. A new application form has been made and is distributed at the county level via the county assessor.
